INTRODUCING AXIOS – OUR NEW HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP
We are excited to announce the launch of our new high school youth group, Axios, here at Holy Family Community! Named after the Greek word meaning "worthy," Axios will be a vibrant and engaging space for all high school students in our parish to gather, grow, and serve.
We invite all high school students to join us and become an integral part of this exciting new chapter in our parish life. Axios will focus on three main pillars:
Service: Encouraging students to live out their faith by serving others, both within our parish and in the broader community.
Education in our Catholic Tradition: Deepening our understanding of the Catholic faith and how it informs our daily lives.
Social Component: Providing a fun and supportive environment where young people can build lasting friendships and enjoy a variety of activities together.
We are pleased to introduce Ben Muiller as the leader of Axios. Ben and his wife Karisa are active members of our parish. They were married in 2016, and have been blessed with a daughter, Penelope, who turned one in June. With his strong commitment to faith and community, Ben is looking forward to guiding our youth as they navigate these formative years.
The importance of a high school youth group cannot be overstated. Axios will serve as a place where young people from various high schools can come together, forming a cohesive community grounded in shared values. It will be a space where students can explore their faith, develop leadership skills, and find support as they face the challenges of adolescence.
