Community Building Opportunities

Empty Nesters
A social group of parish members who have sent all of their children out into the world, or at least out of the home. This group plans activities both in the parish and excursions to places of interest close by to add fun and fellowship to these exciting years.
-
Father's Day Brunch
Each year on Father’s Day, the women of St. Theresa’s Society will put on a brunch for the men of the parish. Being a father is a blessing and holy undertaking. This simple gesture is how the parish acknowledges our gratitude for your being a Dad.
-
Gaudete Charity Auction
This annual event in the spring is a way for the parish to raise needed funds for special projects, and it is a way for us to gather and have fun. There are lots of ways to get involved with the auction and give of your time while meeting new members of the parish family.
-
Holy Family Mother's Group
Being a new mom can be a difficult thing to maneuver. And whether you have one child or many children, the journey is always easier to manager with mother moms. This is a group that will plan social and spiritual events along with helping set up play groups and babysitting ideas.
-
Hospitality Team
There is nothing more important to Catholic parishes than hospitality. Being part of this initiative will help to establish teams of parish members to help welcoming new members, setting up Sunday morning coffee & doughnuts and reaching out to all parishioners at Christmas.
-
Mother's Day Brunch
Where we be without our mothers? They are the lifeblood of the home and the ones who helped us become the people that we are. Each year on Mother’s Day, a brunch will be served by the Knights of Columbus as a small token of our love and gratitude to the women of our parish.

Parish Picnic
Each fall the whole family is invited to come together to and celebrate Holy Family Parish. This annual picnic takes lots of hands to put together and coordinate with the groups within the parish. It is a time to meet new and old friends.
