Each year during the seasons of Advent and Lent, the Lawrence Region hosts penance services to help everyone avail themselves to the sacrament before we celebrate our great feasts. Please make sure that you and your family have an opportunity to celebrate God’s great reconciliation. These penance services will each have several priests to help in hearing confessions. Times have been staggered so that all families may have an opportunity to attend. This year the Advent penance services are as follows:

• Sacred Heart, Tonganoxie Monday, December 11th at 7:00 pm

• Holy Family, Eudora Wednesday, December 13th at 5:30 pm

• Corpus Christi, Lawrence Thursday, December 14th at 6:30 pm

• Annunciation, Baldwin Friday, December 15th at 7:00 pm
