Family Promise Raffle Ticket Sales

FAMILY PROMISE

The concept of home marks the beginning of one's future journey. However, for children and families during a housing crisis, this fundamental cornerstone is often missing. For 15 years, Family Promise has diligently worked to establish this foundation. In 2023 alone, they assisted 280 families. To address the escalating need of families and children, Family Promise employs innovative solutions, encompassing prevention, diversion, shelter, and stabilization services. That's why Family Promise announced a two-million-dollar capital campaign: Give Hope, to establish a dedicated facility and services precisely tailored to meet the evolving needs of homeless children and families.

All tickets are sold out!

The need for such a facility is urgent. Every day, countless families are forced to navigate the harsh realities of homelessness, with mothers and children often bearing the brunt of the hardship. The new facility will provide them with a safe haven where they can find not only shelter but also the resources and support they need to rebuild their lives.

As people of faith, we are called to serve those in need and to extend a helping hand to the most vulnerable among us. Holy Family has been one of the many faith communities who has supported Family Promise for many years. As one of the contributing faith communities, we can help with this new endeavor by supporting the Family Promise 2024 Car Raffle. The 2024 Chevrolet Trax is being donated by Dale Willey Automotive. Each ticket is $10, or you can purchase a book of 10 tickets for $100.

Raffle tickets will go on sale beginning in August, and the drawing for the car will take place on September 15th. You can purchase your tickets in the parish office, online (watch the bulletin for specifics), or from Fr. Mick. Consider being a part of the Give Hope campaign to help bring to life the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy to families and children in need. Every small gesture becomes a big blessing in the lives of others.
