Feast Of The Holy Family Celebration

This year our parish feast day falls on December 31st. It is a great blessing that our parish is under the patronage of the Holy Family. This feast honors the familial bond of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. It emphasizes the sacredness of family life and the virtues of love, unity, and mutual support within the family unit. As we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family in our community, we are reminded of the profound significance of this sacred occasion. This feast directs our gaze towards the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, serving as a poignant reminder of the divine importance of family life.

The Holy Family stands as a beacon of love, unity, and unwavering faith. In contemplating their example, we are called to emulate the virtues of compassion, understanding, and mutual support within our own families and with the family of our parish community.

This feast challenges us to reflect on our role in the grand tapestry of God's design. It encourages us to foster an environment where love flourishes, where understanding prevails, and where faith is the guiding force. In a world that often tugs at the seams of unity, the Feast of the Holy Family calls us to strengthen the ties that bind us, finding inspiration in the divine harmony exemplified by Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

This year, as we celebrate the Years of Eucharistic Renewal, we will gather as a family together following the morning liturgy on December 31st. Their will be a light brunch served in the parish hall. All are invited and encouraged to attend. You may bring your leftover holiday sweets to share, or just bring yourselves.

Please RSVP by December 18th so we have a good count on who can attend. A new prayer card will be handed out to replace the Harvest prayer from our last gathering.

May this celebration be a source of renewal for our families, a time to rekindle the flame of love, and a moment to deepen our commitment to God's plan within the sacred sanctuary of our homes.
