As we prepare to celebrate the holidays calling us to give thanks and to giving, we are invited to share some of our blessings with those that who have not had the same year that we have. During these next weeks where we will celebrate Advent and Christmas, we are invited to bring to church with us on the weekends any nonperishable food items and place them in the narthex of the church. In addition to food items (canned vegetables and fruit, cereal, canned meats, peanut butter, soup, baby food, etc.) items for hygiene can also be brought during this time. Soaps, shampoo, tooth paste and toothbrushes, floss, wipes, toilet paper, deodorant, feminine products, shaving cream, razors, etc. are all welcome and needed. All donations will be donated to local charities and pantries between now and Christmas. Please take one of the recyclable bags home with you so that you will have it ready the next time that you are out shopping for groceries. Thank you for your continued generosity.
